The gizzard inspection table is designed to remove any gizzard lining of the gizzards. When using an automatic gizzard harvester it is recommended to use a gizzard inspection table as a quality control back-up. Any gizzards which are not or only partially processed can be peeled manually by using the peeling rolls in the table. This complete setup for peeling and inspecting of harvested gizzards consists of:
- stainless steel frame and work top with two sets of peeling rollers
- fitted with emergency stop
- separate discharge for peeled gizzards and offals
- insufficiently peeled gizzards may be introduced a second time
- Inspection capacity: up to 12000 gizzards per hour
- Peeling capacity: up to 1500 gizzards per hour
